  • Part A covers hospital stays
  • Bart B covers doctor and outpatient visits

If you would like more coverage to help with out of pocket expenses.
You have two options:

Option 1: Add one or both of the following, to Original Medicare:
  • Medicare Supplement Insurance offered by private companies (Covers some or all of the costs not covered by Parts A and B)
  • Medicare Part D offered by private companies (Part D coveres prescription drugs)
Option 2: Add additional coverage by choosing a Medicare Advantage plan:
  • Part C combines Parts A (hospital) and B (doctor). It also provides additional benefits and most plans cover prescription drugs.
